How this is calculated
Royalty per copy = (List price × royalty rate) − printing cost. Printing cost is a fixed base plus a per-page charge once your book passes a small free-page allowance. KDP's rate is 60% above a $9.99 list price and 50% below it; IngramSpark pays a flat 45%.
